Wapic Insurance Celebrates 10 Years Of Insurance Excellence In Ghana

Wapic Insurance (Ghana) Limited has attained a remarkable milestone as the organisation celebrated 10 years of providing excellent insurance services in Ghana. The company, which commenced business in 2009, has undergone a number of transformational initiatives to become the insurance company of choice.
As one of the leading insurance companies in Ghana, Wapic has made significant contributions to the development of the Ghanaian insurance industry and the entire West African sub-region through its numerous pioneering and defining roles.
Over the years, the Company has championed capacity building initiatives which includes amongst others, seminars and trainings for Insurance Brokers and other Players of the Insurance Industry.
On the commemorative anniversary, the Managing Director of the Company, Mr. Adedayo Arowojolu expressed gratitude to clients, regulators, employees and other stakeholder groups for giving Wapic Insurance an opportunity to evolve into a model for service delivery and product development in the industry.
According to him, “For a decade now, we have served Ghana, delivering excellent insurance services, through our diverse range of products and services covering general and special risk businesses. This would not have been possible without your patronage, support and recommendations. As an organisation, we are proud to say that our success story is incomplete without you. While we have many things to look back on, it is more profitable to look forward as our greatest accomplishments still lie ahead of us.
In celebration of the company’s remarkable feats, the Board and Management had outlined activities for commemorating the company’s 10th anniversary.
These commemorative events culminated in a special event that saw the Company invite some of its key customers to a breakfast engagement at the Company’s head office at 35, Aviation Road, Airport Residential Area, Accra.
In his address, Mr. Arowojolu further added, “After 10 years of doing business as insurers, we are committed to utilizing the years ahead to make Wapic undisputedly the Insurance Company of Choice as well as the Employer of Choice. As we progress, we will continue to develop ourselves, leverage our strengths as a Company, and take on new challenges with the aim of creating a solid operating platform that can deliver an increasing quality service to our esteemed customers. We will continue to forge close business and customer relationships by delivering on the trust our clients place in us. We cannot achieve any of these without YOU, our esteemed customer”.
